UniversalCare Strides for Stroke brings together more than 1,300 community members, patients, doctors, nurses and hospital staff for a 5KM walk/run through the streets of Richmond Hill and Vaughan to raise funds for Mackenzie Health.
Since 2006, Strides for Stroke has raised nearly $1.78 million to help fund education programs and lifesaving equipment including CT Scanners, MRI and ECG machines, vital sign and bedside monitors that are used throughout the hospital and in the diagnoses and treatment of stroke at Mackenzie Health.
Ride for Health, presented by CIBC for the 5th consecutive year, offers exclusive 25/50/75/100KM routes through picturesque York Region. Indulge in a gourmet breakfast, premier rest stations and a post-event celebration.
Funds raised support Mackenzie Health Foundation’s $250-million Exceptional Care Belongs Here campaign to build and equip the future Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital – Canada’s first ‘smart’ hospital – and enhance care at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital.
Join us at Eagles Nest Golf Club for 18 holes of golf in scramble format, along with scrumptious food tasting stations, exciting on-course activities and amazing prizes.
