This past summer, the Concerned Citizens of Canada for Community Welfare, a registered charitable organization that helps raise funds for other organizations doing community welfare activities, held a Car Rally at Canada’s Wonderland in support of Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital.
Participants (with a minimum of one driver and co-driver) enjoyed a scenic drive in the area while also being tested on their observation skills and timing. Prizes were given to the first-, second- and third-place teams.
On Nov. 17, Bahadur Sanghra, Gord Thethi and Harbans Bansal presented a cheque to Mackenzie Health Foundation for $5,050 from the July event.
